Caldreth 965 Smoked-Glass Dome Pendant

Caldreth 965 is a smoked-glass dome pendant, 380 mm dome, drop adjustable to 1 500 mm.

Flex is braided rather than plain PVC where it is visible, because a pendant's cable is on permanent display.

The shade is smoked glass & black steel: tinted glass over blackened steel, chosen to soften the bulb rather than hide it. Nothing structural here is glued: the fitting outlives several generations of the bulb inside it.

Care

Dust twice a year and check the canopy screws haven't worked loose — a pendant that sways slightly usually just needs a quarter-turn.
